Essential pre-event action.
Questions email depart@velo29.com
When riding in a Velo29 Sportive there are some short but essential actions needed in the week before the event. These are all in aid of a great fun, slick and SAFE event.
- Find your booking ref and chip number. To do this, click on the ‘RIDER NUMBERS & REFS’ button. Make a note of your chip/rider number and highlight and copy your booking ref.
- Next, click the ‘PRE-EVENT QUESTIONNAIRE’ button. Paste in your booking ref then type your chip/rider number into the appropriate boxes and complete the questions.
- Finally, book a start slot by typing your chip/rider number into your chosen time slot.
The process is only open to you from 10am on the last Tuesday before an event and must be complete by 18:00 Thursday. We will always text and email to notify you of any action needed.
Check Your Chip/Rider Number & Booking Ref
*Specific To Next Event Only
You will need to collect your rider pack from the HQ on your way to the start line. From 10am on Tuesday before the event you can check what your rider number and booking reference is.
*Please do not check here before 10am Tuesday, this detail is updated on the Tuesday before each event*
Pre-Event Questionnaire.
It is essential that all riders complete the pre-event questionnaire for each event. This can be done from 10am on Tuesday and must be completed before 18:00 Thursday.
No complete form = NO RIDE I’m afraid.
Book your start time here.
We set riders off 10 per minute and you must book your start slot for each event.
Please select an available time and enter your chip/rider number.
Make a note of the time you have booked and then head to the start line a few minutes before the time you have booked.
Arrive in adequate time to collect your rider pack, get the bike ready and enjoy a coffee. We encourage you to arrive 30 mins before your start, not more.
*You can book friends a start time but it is essential that they complete their own pre-event form. Legal action could be taken if a rider does not complete their own questionnaire*
